My name is Thyme F. Nord
and I have over 15 years
of professional experience in photography, videography,& editing.
I have always been personally driven to earn a living and pursue creative projects.
Starting in elementary school,
I began taking jobs with my grandfather's local freelance company. As a small operation with a staff size of 1-5 people, I quickly learned how to cover a lot of ground and wear many hats. I was filming drunk adults at birthdays and staging wedding party photos by age 12.
I earned my
Bachelor's Degree in Art History
from Cal State Fullerton and continued to experiment with different jobs all the while. I made a complete departure when I moved to Europe to pursue a
Master's Degree in International Business
(University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business). I sold my car and lived in a hostel for a month to do so. I completed the 2 1/2-year program and am currently working on my thesis.
In the last several years, I have been working as a Producer at FUGU Corp., a tech-startup that focuses on video content for online universities like Gracie University (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), as well as livestream entertainment. I helped build up our studio from scratch and have had the opportunity to hone my skills in all aspects of video production.
I work with new clients every week
and am always working to hone my filming style and advance my editing skills.
When I became old enough to work a job that wasn’t technically child labor, I juggled a part-time, high school, and freelance videography on the weekends when I could.
Around my full-time job I have made time to complete projects for websites, social media, and even music videos- almost always solo.
Today, I am continuing to seek engaging freelance opportunities and
work my way up to bigger, better productions.
If nothing else, I love a challenge.
